Poetry Reading: Lynn Xu and Joshua Edwards
July 21, 2022 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Join us for an outdoor reading by poets Lynn Xu and Joshua Edwards. Xu will read excerpts from her new book-length poem And Those Ashen Heaps That Cantilevered Vase of Moonlight. Edwards will read from his new collection of poems, prose, translations, and images The Double Lamp of Solitude and 2018 book-length poem Agonistes. Together, Xu and Edwards will read from Chinese writer Lao Yang’s collection Pee Poems, which they co-translated from Mandarin into English.
This event takes place during Free Third Thursdays (5 – 9pm), a lively gathering in MOCA’s galleries around art, music, and drinks!
Co-Presented by The University of Arizona Poetry Center.
