Pia Camil: Three Works: Contribute to an Outdoor Installation

The public is invited through August 31st to bring in a loved but outworn piece of clothing or bedding to be added to AIR OUT YOUR DIRTY LAUNDRY, one of the three large-scale installations included in MOCA exhibition Pia Camil: Three Works.

AIR OUT YOUR DIRTY LAUNDRY, the artist’s interpretation of a “flag,” hangs on MOCA’s exterior and  is made up of donated used clothing to represent a multitude of individuals and memorialize personal possessions.

At drop-off, record the story of the garment’s significance with a MOCA staff member and in return receive a $10 giftcard to Bookmans Entertainment Exchange (Arizona’s largest used bookstore) to continue the cycle of reuse! Drop Off your contribution during MOCA open hours, Fridays and Saturdays, 12-7pm, and Sundays, 12-4pm.

Pia Camil: Three Works is made possible with generous support from Vantage West Credit Union; Blum & Poe, Los Angeles/ New York/ Tokyo; and Bookmans Entertainment Exchange.

Exhibitions and programs at MOCA are supported by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts; National Endowment for the Arts; Arizona Commission on the Arts; Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona; and Community Foundation for Southern Arizona.
