ArtNow! with Terry Etherton
Art Fair Fever:
Planning, Executing and Deconstructing the Booth
Thursday 16 March • 6pm
Art fairs have radically altered the way art changes hands. Terry Etherton, owner of Tucson’s fine art photography gallery, Etherton Gallery, will discuss these changes and his experiences as a regular exhibitor at AIPAD Photography Show in New York, Classic Photography fair in Los Angeles, and Paris Photo. He will take the audience on the journey from initial preparation to post-show press and give insight into some lesser-known facts about the life experience of a fine art gallerist.
Art Now! gives you the opportunity to share your thoughts on the wildly disparate practices and objects collectively known as “the art of our time.” Guests are encouraged to participate, share, and engage in this playful rendition upending the traditional art history lecture format.
FREE for MOCA members, non-members $10
Admission includes light snacks and refreshments
