Art Now! gives you the opportunity to share your thoughts on the wildly disparate practices and objects collectively known as “the art of our time.” Guests are encouraged to participate, share, and engage in this playful rendition upending the traditional art history lecture format.

Born and raised in Tucson, Valerie Sipp discovered her love of post-WWII art while studying for her Bachelor’s degree in Art History at the University of Arizona. She continued her education at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York City where she received her Masters in Contemporary Art. Part of the MOCA Tucson family, Valerie is the museum’s Head of Visitors Services and Outreach. With an interest in Post-Minimalist art and viewer participation, Valerie will be presenting her Masters Thesis: Seeing is Being, Experiencing Art in a Post-Minimalist World.
