Fall Exhibitions Opening Reception

Join us as we open two new exhibitions at MOCA Tucson. were-:Nenetech Forms opens in the Great Hall and Mujeres Nourishing Fronterizx Bodies: Resistance in the Time of COVID-19 will be on view in the East Galleries.
Following MOCA’s current COVID-19 protocols, timed admission to the opening will be available in 1-hour blocks. Space is limited and attendees must register in advance. Reserved spaces for Museum Members are available in each time block. Register below:
To ensure the safety of all museum visitors and staff, please note the following protocols will be followed at this event:
- All visitors and staff are required to wear masks when not actively eating or drinking and practice social distancing at all times when on the museum premises (indoor and outdoor), regardless of vaccination status.
- Capacity will be limited to 40 attendees with advanced registration required.
were-:Nenetech Forms is co-organized by artists rafa esparza, Timo Fahler, and Curator-at-Large Laura Copelin with support from Assistant Curator Alexis Wilkinson.

Mujeres Nourishing Fronterizx Bodiesis organized by Laura Copelin, Curator-at-Large, and artists Gabriela Muñoz and M. Jenea Sanchez, with support from Alexis Wilkinson, Assistant Curator.
The exhibition is supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, The Diane & Bruce Halle Foundation, and VIA Art Fund and Wagner Foundation. The project as a whole is funded with contributions from the Surdna Foundation through the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures and The Andrew W.
