Minor Mutiny

Minor Mutiny

Minor Mutiny is a 6-week art program for youth ages 13-18 offering an opportunity to explore collaboration through art, research, dialogue, and community engagement. Each year, the Minor Mutiny  program invites teen interns across Tucson, and with the support of MOCA, art mentors, and community partners, the participants design, develop, and activate a unique collaborative art project. This year’s Minor Mutiny cohort will work together to create an art installation that will be featured in MOCA’s upcoming exhibition!

What to expect:

  • Work as part of a creative 8-person team
  • Learn how to turn group ideas into an artwork
  • Gain skills in collaborative art-making and group decision-making
  • Get hands-on experience installing an exhibition
  • Earn $300 for your time and contributions

Bilingual sessions will be co-facilitated by Raquel Denis and Mariel Miranda and will take place Fridays from September 12 to October 17, 5:00 – 8:00PM at MOCA Tucson.
